The Sexual Exploits of an Anonymous Gay Man
Are you who I think you are?

My guess is no. I tend to stay on the periphery of Tumblr, so I haven’t had any real contact with any of you. Some of you have shown up on my dashboard before through reblogs, but out of the 91 people that I follow on this Tumblr so far, I’ve only really clicked through to 3 of them in my life - if that.

I’m kind of glad I got this question early, though, because I really don’t want you people to know who I am. My intentions are not for self-promotion or ego masturbation, but instead, to serve as some sort of medium where gay stories and issues are addressed. We’ve all had incidents in our lives and many of them show connections to the experiences of others. If anything, this blog was created to illustrate the bond that we all share - the loneliness that we feel as a minority in this world, the hurt that we feel from being shunned by society, and the triumphs of coming to terms with our identities. Of course, I hope to entertain along the way, but it is not my intention to attach my face to my stories. What I will eventually tell are stories that are not only my own, but stories that everyone can relate to. So when you ask, “Are you who I think you are?,” I guess you’re somewhat correct - I am a representation of every gay that has explored his own sexual identity.

At this point I know that we’re just beginning to scratch the surface of this blog, but if you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask away.
